
Liebl joins Lancaster Inferno for second year

LANCASTER, Pa. – Millersville University women's soccer player Kay Liebl signed with United Women's Soccer club Lancaster Inferno after a standout season with the Marauders.
Liebl led Millersville to its first NCAA Tournament berth in program history. After moving to the forward position in 2018, Liebl led the team in all offensive categories, scoring 17 goals, eight assists and 42 points. She totaled six game-winning goals. The Ephrata, Pa., native tied Millersville's single-season record for assists.
Liebl became the only Marauder in history to earn five postseason honors in a single season. Her accomplishments included United Soccer Coaches Women's Soccer Scholar All-American Second Team with a 3.51 GPA, All-PSAC First Team, D2CCA and United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region First Teams and CoSIDA Academic All-District II.
Liebl joins the Inferno following the spring semester. The Inferno compete in the UWS's East Conference. Liebl will play on her home field with the Inferno playing games at Millersville's Pucillo Field. The UWS is a national soccer league sanctioned by U.S. Soccer through the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA). The league runs from May until the end of July. The UWS consists of players from all parts of the sport including college players, aspiring and former professional and international stars.
