Luncheon in celebration of 100 Years of Women's Intercollegiate Athletics set for March 30

Millersville, Pa. - The 2018-2019 year marks the 100th anniversary of women's intercollegiate athletics at Millersville University. In honor of all that women's sports has accomplished over the past century, a celebration will be held on Saturday, March 30 at 11 a.m. in the Lehr Room of the Bolger Conference Center.
Women's intercollegiate athletics has grown tremendously within the Millersville University community. Women's athletics not only provides a number of opportunities for student-athletes to find success, but it also provides a sense of purpose for those participating. Through building relationships on and off the field, to creating an environment where hard work and dedication are at the forefront shows the positive impact women's sports can have on a community.
The gathering is open to all. Cost is $15 per person, which includes the meal.
Following the event, alums are invited to attend softball, women's lacrosse and women's tennis events, which are taking place on campus starting at 1 p.m.
