No. 7 field hockey falls in overtime to No. 2 East Stroudsburg

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The Millersville field hockey team battled through a scoreless 60 minutes of play to move into its fourth overtime of the season. No. 2- ranked East Stroudsburg, however, scored the golden goal in the 64th minute to take the 1-0 victory.

The Marauders are now 11-6 overall and 3-6 in the PSAC. East Stroudsburg improves to 16-2 overall and 9-1 in the conference. The loss dims Millersville's PSAC Tournament hopes, but they await their fate needing a win on Saturday and help from two teams.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
• The Warriors set up back-to-back penalty corners just three minutes into overtime. Autumn Peters made a sliding split to save the first attempt then slapped the second shot away with her glove. The Warriors propelled an air ball at Peters' who swatted it away with her glove for the save.
