THE MATCH-UP
• Millersville had a record-breaking performance on offense last week and now looks to carry that momentum to Shippensburg where it hasn't won since 1996. Millersville scored 48 against Lock Haven--its most points since 2017. The Marauders tied a school record with six touchdown passes. Collin Shank set a 20-year-old school record with 454 yards of total offense. The Marauders also came within 37 yards of the school record for total offense in a game.
• Shank was named PSAC East Athlete of the Week on Monday. It was his second career win of the award and first since 2017. Shank threw for 420 yards and five touchdowns against Lock Haven. It was his second career 400-yard game and a career-high in touchdowns. Shank posted the sixth-most total offensive yards in a game this season. He is one of 19 players in the country to throw at least five touchdown passes this season. Shank now has eight touchdown passes to three interceptions and has completed 60 percent of his passes.
• It was quite a turnaround for the Marauder offense. It had scored 35 total points in the first five games and had not scored more than seven points in the previous four games. Millersville's 148 yards rushing were the most since week one and the first time it had topped 35 yards since week one.
• Millersville's strength of schedule ranks No. 2 in Division II. The team's four losses came against teams who were at least receiving votes in this week's AFCA Division II Poll.
• Millersville's defense recovered three fumbles against Lock Haven and has now generated six turnovers in the last three games. The Marauders had generated just two in the first three games.
• Isaiah Onuschak ranks second in the PSAC in tackles at 10.8 per game. He has had double-digit stops in five of six games and had a career-high 14 against East Stroudsburg.  He has at least one tackle for loss in five of six games and has a sack of in four of six. His five sacks are tied for third in the PSAC.
• Evan Morrill caught a career-high two touchdown passes against Lock Haven and now has three TD catches in the last three weeks. His 99 yards against Lock Haven were also a career high. He has caught a pass in 24 consecutive games.
• Also against Lock Haven, Kevon Newerls caught two touchdown passes and totaled a career-high 144 yards receiving--the most by a Marauder since 2010. Against Lock Haven, 11 Marauders caught a pass. Two--Brian Richardson and Tyrell Wickersham--made their first career TD reception.
• Millersville had eight true and redshirt freshmen start against Lock Haven. A total of 19 freshmen played in the game.

ABOUT THE RAIDERS
• Shippensburg may be 1-5 but its last two losses have come by a total of 10 points. Like Millersville, Shippensburg has played a tough schedule too. Its strength of schedule is tied for 24th in Division II.
• The Raiders average 362.5 yards and have topped 400 yards in two of the last three games. Brycen Mussina has thrown eight touchdown passes to three interceptions and ranks eighth in the league in yards. The team has rushed for six touchdowns in the last three weeks. Luke Durkin has rushed for four of those. After not having a carry in the first three weeks, he has totaled 78 carries for 339 yards in the last three.
• Winston Eubanks ranks second in the PSAC in receiving yards per game (92.7). He is averaging 16.4 yards per catch.
• Shippensburg ranks 16th in the PSAC in rushing defense, allowing 199.2 yards per game. Five of six teams have rushed for at least 173 yards against the Raiders.

COACH MORGAN'S SCOUTING REPORT
• On last week's victory: "We are continuing to play more and more players and getting them some game experience which will play off this year and beyond. Offensively, to sustain a level of success was big. Defensively, being able to force turnovers at key times was a big part of the victory."
• On the offense's production last week: "We have had some opportunities over the last few weeks but weren't able to take advantage. It was nice to be able to connect on those plays. What we are seeing in practice is that more and more guys are getting comofrtable with that we are asking them to do. It is happening in practicing and last week we saw it pay off in the game."
• On scouting Shippensburg: "They have had a tough schedule as well. Their record is a little misleading in that regard. Offensively, they have settled into what they are--using a big back in the run game. That's paid off for them. They still have weapons in the passing game. Through the tough schedule they have rebounded and found things defensively that has kept them in ball games. I am sure they will be excited for this weekend."

THE LAST TIME OUT
• MILLERSVILLE (vs. Lock Haven (W, 48-23)): Collin Shank set a school record with 454 yards of total offense, throwing five of the team's school-record six touchdown passes. Millersville was just 37 yards shy of the school record with 592 yards of total offense.
• SHIPPENSBURG (at Shepherd (L, 30-32)): Shippensburg led 30-26 with just over three minutes left but Shepherd drove for a game-winning touchdown in the final minute. Brycen Mussina threw for 405 yards and three touchdowns.
