MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - The Millersville men's soccer team has rode a mid-season surge to the top of the PSAC East standings and looks to stay unbeaten in conference play Wednesday as they host Lock Haven University. The Marauders have won three of the last four games and find themselves just a point ahead of second place West Chester in the East thanks to their unbeaten conference record of 4-0-2.
The second half of the season is now in session, with the Marauders needing to play each conference opponent one additional time in the regular season. This fall's first repeat match is with the Lock Haven Bald Eagles, who Millersville defeated 3-0 back on Sept. 18.
Wednesday's matchup also features the conference's two top goal-scoring threats in Millersville's
Jacob Gosselin and Lock Haven's Andrea DiSomma. DiSomma leads all PSAC players with nine goals while Gosselin is just behind with eight.
Dating back to the 2012 season, Millersville has won 9 of the last 11 meetings versus the Bald Eagles.
