MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - The Millersville men's soccer team returns home after a three-game road trip to face Bloomsburg University this Saturday, Oct. 12 at 5:30 p.m. The Marauders are unbeaten in PSAC play with a 3-0-2 conference record (5-3-2 overall) and are in second place in the PSAC East standings, two points behind first-place West Chester. Bloomsburg is in third place in the East with a 3-2 conference record.
The Huskies have launched the most shots in the entire PSAC with 166, more than Millersville's 124 total.
Dating back to the 2007 season, Millersville is 16-2 in the last 18 meetings versus Bloomsburg.
ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
- Eight different Marauders have scored a goal this season, led by Jacob Gosselin's team-leading seven (the third highest total in the PSAC.)
- Frank Astarita is the only other player to have scored multiple goals.
- The trio of Nathan Maynard, Ethan Woods and Mike Kreider continue to log heavy minutes on the defensive side of the ball. All three players are well over 900 minutes played, more than 100 more than the rest of the team.
- Millersville's five wins through the first ten games of 2019 are a slight improvement over the 2018 season (four wins and four draws through the first ten games).

- It was Senior Day for the Marauders and there was no scoring in the first half.
- Millersville came alive in the second half thanks to a Spencer Shortt goal in the 48th minute. Nathan Erb headed in another goal in the 57th minute off a Shortt corner kick.
- Bloomsburg got a goal back on a penalty kick by Tyler Madeira but the Marauders responded with an Anthony Calamia goal in the 69th minute and a Jacob Gosselin strike in the 76th.
