ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
• The Millersville University men's soccer team is coming off a draw with Adelphi and take on Saint Thomas Aquinas Wednesday at Pucillo Field. This is the first time that these teams are facing each other due to last season's scheduled match being cancelled.
• The Marauders jumped five spots to fourth in the United Soccer Coaches Atlantic Region Poll. Above Millersville is Notre Dame (1), Charleston (W.Va.) and Seton Hill (3).

Chase Flickinger has been an impact player, picking up two goals against Bloomfield and an assist against Adelphi. Two Marauders are in the top five in the PSAC in goals (Flickinger and
Jacob Gosselin). Gosselin has been a workhorse on the attack, scoring a goal in each of the three games and an assist in 4-2 victory over Bloomfield.

Darian McCauley has a .739 saves percentage. He is tied for fourth in the PSAC in saves per game at 4.25. McCauley registered a saves percentage of .678 in the past two games while allowing three goals.
• Millersville has outscored opponents 9-6, outscoring teams by an average of 2.25-1.5.
• The Marauders are only allowing 10.5 shots a game for their opponents while only putting .548 percent on net.

• The Marauders and Adelphi could not determine the winner in regulation and forced overtime in which neither team could score in which the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
• The Marauders began the scoring early when senior
Chase Flickinger's shot was blocked by the goalie but the ball landed Gosselin's foot with an open net. He converted the first goal of the game in the 24th minute.
• A few minutes after halftime, the Panthers struck with their equalizer.
• In the second overtime, the Marauders had chances to get the game-winner by attempting three corner kicks and two Flickinger shots in the final two minutes.
• The Millersville defense allowed the Panthers to record seven shots on goal totaling 17 shots.
SCOUTING THE SPARTANS
• The Marauders are facing a Spartan team that is on a three-game winning streak.
• The Spartans are off to a 3-1 start after posting a 5-9-1 record a season ago.
• Saint Thomas Aquinas suffered a season-opening 6-1 loss against Southern New Hampshire and then bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Saint Michael's. Last week, the squad won against Holy Family, 4-1, and New Haven, 2-0.
• The Spartans have mustered 10 goals while giving up four. Leading the scoring group, Luis Morales has scored two goals coming off a five goals season ago.
• Saint Thomas Aquinas brings back senior leadership in goal from Jack Nicholson who has a 0.71 goals against average while allowing two goals past him. He currently has a .800 saves percentage.
• In road games, the Spartans have scored three goals while allowing three goals per game.
