ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
• The Millersville University men's soccer team returns back home Saturday against Goldey-Beacom. The Marauders will battle the Lightning under the lights at 7 p.m.
• Senior Jaxson Burns leads the team in scoring after scoring a goal and an assist in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to Wilmington. Burns recorded three shots in 69 minutes.
• Millersville has posted a winning record at home in each of the last 10 seasons. In eight of those 10 seasons, the Marauders have won more than seven games at home. 
• Seven newcomers received playing time in their Marauders debut with Anthony Calamia rifling off one shot.

LAST TIME IN ACTION: WILMINGTON 3, MILLERSVILLE 2 (OT)
• The Marauders led the game 2-1 at 62:47 after Chase Flickinger's goal. 
• Wilmington's Ellis McSharry shocked the Marauders with six minutes left in regulation, tying the Marauders. Neither team could not score within regulation so the teams went to overtime.
• Thirty seconds into overtime, Fredrik Bentdal of the Wildcats fired a rocket from outside the box that sunk in the top right corner of the goal for the game winner.

THE LAST MEETING: MILLERSVILLE 2, GOLDEY-BEACOM 0 (Oct. 1, 2015)
• Millersville found its breakthrough in the 28th minute. Ryan Phelps gathered a corner kick cross on the left side of the box and immediately whipped in a cross of his own that was headed into the back of the net by forward Jaime Vazquez.
• On the counter attack, Christopher Sosa ripped a shot from 35-yards out that dipped just below the crossbar for his first goal of the game.
• The Marauders out-shot Goldey-Beacom by a 21-9 margin as the Lightning only registered three shot attempts after their starting keeper was shown the red card. Millersville also produced 12 corner kicks compared to the visitors' one.

SCOUTING THE LIGHTNING
• Goldey-Beacom played a neutral site game at Millersville against District of Columbia. Both teams finished their 2017 seasons in the NCAA Tournament. The Firebirds scored one time in each half to secure a victory.
• Senior Suhail Bismilla, a two-time All-CACC pick, made six saves in their season opener.
• The Lightning totaled five shots in the game.
• Last season, the team concluded the year with a 17-5-1 record going to second round of the NCAA Tournament before losing to No. 15 Adelphi.
