CAREER ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
Amanda Myers (Track & Field)
Amanda Myers has represented Millersville University track and field on the highest level in each of her first three seasons as a Marauder. A three-time national qualifier and two-time All-American, Myers has etched her name in the record books as the top javelin thrower in program history.
Myers' success in the javelin was immediate. She was named the 2015 PSAC Outdoor Freshman of the Year, qualifying for the NCAA Championships where she finished 13th. She has since climbed the podium at both the PSAC and NCAA Championships. She took fourth at PSACs and 10th at NCAAs as a sophomore, and as a junior, Myers earned All-PSAC honors with a third-place finish and became a first team All-American with a sixth-place finish.
Myers' 157-10 mark at the 2016 NCAA Championships stands as a school record. She is also a three-time USTFCCCA All-Atlantic Region and All-Academic selection, as well as a three-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete.
CAREER ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
Sean Dugan (Football)
Sean Dugan's play in the middle of the Millersville defense was instrumental in the unit transforming into one of the PSAC's stingiest. Dugan finished his Millersville career ranked fourth in career solo tackles and fifth in total tackles--more than any other Marauder in the last 20 years.
The linebacker was a two-time All-PSAC East selection, and as a senior he was named to the first team. He was also named Don Hansen's Football Gazette All-Super Region 1 First Team in 2017. Those awards came after a season in which he led the PSAC and ranked ninth nationally in tackles. He made more tackles in 2017 than any other Marauder since 1992. Dugan was named the PSAC East Defensive Player of the Week twice in his career--both times after setting "Statcrew Era" records for tackles in a game.
His 123 tackles in 2017 ranks 18th all-time. His 69 solo tackles in 2016 ranks eighth while his 58 in 2017 ranks 14th. He is one of five players in Millersville history with two seasons ranked in the top 20 in solo tackles.
