Annapolis, Md. – Synapse Sports announced its All-America field hockey teams, with Millersville's Erica Tarsi, Sol Ortiz-Kreiner and Jordan Goddard earning second team honors. All three Marauders were also selected to the All-PSAC First Team this season. Millersville has produced at least three All-Americans for the sixth-straight season dating back to 2013.
Tarsi, a junior forward, was the team's leading scorer for the second-straight year, totaling 14 goals and six assists for 34 points. She finished tied for fourth in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) in goals, seventh in points and tied for eighth in assists. Tarsi was also tied for fifth in shots (79) and game-winning goals (4). This marks her second All-America selection, as she earned first team honors from Longstreth/NFHCA last season. Ortiz-Kreiner, a redshirt sophomore midfielder, had a breakout season in 2018, notching seven goals and nine assists for 23 points. She led the team in minutes played with 1,382 and contributed on offense as well, scoring the game-winning goal against No. 6 Kutztown on Oct. 9 and added two assists to her season for a total of four points.
