HEAD COACH STEVE WIDDOWSON QUOTES
• "Extremely disappointed. This was a game we had in complete control at halftime, but we didn't do enough in the first half to make that dominance count. Then in the second half, we lost control of the game and gave West Chester the momentum they needed to come back."
• "(Maynard's goal) was a good set piece. We got a good delivery with the shape and pace we have been talking about on our services and then Nate just followed the ball in to get the touch it needed. It came from a good run and a ball put into a dangerous area."
• "We need everyone to start learning some lessons and taking accountability on the field. The decision making has to be better everywhere on the field and we have to stop repeating mistakes."
INDIVIDUAL LEADERS
• Maynard recorded his first goal this year.
• Flickinger led the team in shots with three. He had half of the total shots.
NOTES
• It was a physical game with both sides totaling 24 fouls.
• The six shots for the Marauders was their lowest total this season.
UP NEXT
• The Marauders take a trip west to Erie, Pa., to face Mercyhurst on Saturday, Oct. 6 for a 1:30 p.m. match.
