COACH SHELLY BEHRENS QUOTES
• "Mercy is a great, scrappy team, so for us it was a nice team win, especially after such an emotional game on Tuesday against East Stroudsburg. We got to give some players good experience tonight and I love how we keep building.
Meredith Fagan and
Jordan Goddard were brilliant.
Aliza Mizak and
Kyra Brakefield were lights out from out of the gates."
• "I got to play three people in the cage tonight.
Autumn Peters has been playing great but when you're not facing a ton of shots that can be a challenge.
Kristy Campana did a good job tonight. She stopped that shot well and credit to Mercy for getting the rebound."
• "Brynne had a couple of opportunities to score, so it was great when she finally did. She is capable of scoring a lot. She can run a marathon and then come back and play a full game. The kid has three gas tanks, she can go all day."
• "This was a great win to help us build towards where we want to be. Not having a conference game gives us some room to breath a little bit."
• "Our bench did a great job tonight.
Mackenzie Hadfield did some nice things.
Natalie Pinder was great.
Amber Macdonald played more than usual tonight and I liked what I saw from her.
Morgan Sudweeks did a great job, as did
Paris Sangiuliano,
Halle Rex and
Georgina Wall. You can't replicate the experience of playing in a game, and that experience is what makes you better."
