 ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
• Seniors Aliza Mizak and Jaycie St. John will be honored prior to the start of the contest.
• The No. 8 Millersville field hockey team is coming off a well-fought 3-2 loss against No. 5 Shippensburg on Oct. 16.
• The Marauders enter Saturday's match with an overall record of 6-4 and a 2-2 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) mark.
Erica Tarsi leads the Marauders in goals (8) and points (21). Tarsi, Kyra Brakefield and Sol Ortiz-Kreiner are tied for the team lead and third in the conference in assists (5). Tarsi is ranked fifth in the conference in points and sixth in goals. She is also ranked eighth in shots (44) and tied for fifth in game-winning goals (3).
Autumn Peters leads the team with 26 saves. She ranks fifth in the PSAC with a 1.51 goals against average (GAA) and seventh with a .765 save percentage. 
• Millersville ranks sixth in the conference in goals scored (27) and is tied for fourth in goals allowed (15).

Annabelle Tierney opened the scoring in the 21st minute when she shot a loose ball that was dribbling in front of the cage past the goalkeeper.
• The Raiders responded in the 30th minute when Caitlyn Wink tipped in a pass from Jazmin Petrantonio into the back of the cage to tie up the score.
• The match remained tied until the 49th minute when Jenna Sluymer fired a high shot into the left side of the cage to give Shippensburg the lead.
• The Marauders came back to tie the game in the 58th minute when Emma Boutcher sent a pass from the right side of the circle to Asia Weaver who dropped her stick to deflect the pass past the goalkeeper. It marked the first goal of Weaver's collegiate career.
• The Raiders scored the decisive goal in the 63rd minute when Valen Alonso fired a rocket from the left side of the circle into the back of the cage. 
• Despite the loss, Millersville out shot Shippensburg 15-10 and held a 10-5 edge in penalty corners.

Alexis Gazzio scored the game-winning goal just 20 seconds into overtime to give the Marauders the victory. She received a pass from Kathleen Bishop in the middle of the circle and fired a rocket from the front of the cage.
• Gazzio and Kyra Brakefield each recorded two shots.
• The Marauders out shot the Lakers 8-4 and held an 8-5 advantage in penalty corners. None of Mercyhurst's shots were on goal. 

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
• Mercyhurst enters Saturday with an overall record of 3-9 and a 1-3 mark in PSAC play.
• The Lakers are coming off a 4-0 win against Seton Hill on Oct. 17. Clare Ahern scored two of her team's goals, while Hayley Skidmore and Alexis Skibitsky each notched one goal. Skidmore also registered one assist, as did Leah Rogers and Alexandria Shumsky. 
• Libby Jones made two stops in the cage to record the shutout.
• Ahern and Skidmore are tied for the team lead in goals (5) and are ranked first (13) and second (12) on the team in points, respectively. Ahern is also tied with Rogers and Katie Lechner for the team lead in assists (3).
• Jones has started the last five games in the cage, during which she has totaled 18 saves and posted a 1.07 GAA and .818 save percentage. 
• Mercyhurst ranks seventh in the conference in goals scored (24) and is second to last in goals allowed (31).
