GAME OVERVIEW
• The Marauders are coming off back-to-back Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championship appearances and want to start the season on a high note as they begin their quest for a third straight trip.
• Millersville received one first place vote and was picked to finish fourth in the conference preseason poll.
• Head Coach Steve Widdowson returns a majority of his team from last year while mixing in nine freshmen to the mix.

ABOUT THE SERIES
• Millersville and Wilmington have participated in a tight rivalry since their first match in 2002. Currently the record sits even at 4-4-1 and both teams are eager to break the stalemate.

THE LAST MEETING: #21 Wilmington 3, Millersville 2 (Sep. 17, 2013)
• Wilmington's Tom Quaranta scored a hat trick in the opening 25 minutes of the game while Millersville mustered one goal in the first half. Millersville scored again in the second half, but Wilmington stepped up on defense and limited the Marauders to one shot in the final 25 minutes of the game.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
• Wilmington was picked to finish first in the CACC after a semi finals appearance in the conference championship last year.
• The Wildcats stumbled during their preseason and finished 0-2-1 in exhibitions against Palm Beach Atlantic University, Barry University and Mercy College.
• Wilmington out shot their opponents 235-150 and outscored their opponents 41-23 last season. Millersville's defense will be tested early and often against the Wildcats.
• Millersville will need to lock up sophomore forward Lorne Bickley. Bickley lead the team with 12 goals scored last season while winning conference rookie of the year. He played in 18 games but only started 13 last season and will probably be the offensive focal point in 2017.
