Millersville, Pa. – The No. 2-ranked Millersville University baseball team completed its regular season with a perfect 20-0 home record after defeating Wilmington 9-5 Monday afternoon at Cooper Park.
Â

Â
Wilmington (17-26) jumped out to a 2-0 lead after
Kyle Peterson walked the first two batters of the game and Julian Kurych looped a two-out single to shallow left. The Marauders picked up both runs in the second on
Jeremy Musser's sixth homer of the season. Wilmington led off the top of the third with a solo homer, but the Marauders received another two-run homer from
Tyler Orris in the bottom of the inning. Millersville led the rest of the way.
Musser finished the game 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs.
Chas McCormick continued his recent hot streak with a 2-for-3 game and stole two bases. He has now hit in 13-consecutive games and has 11 multi-hit games in that stretch. He's also stolen nine bases in his last six games.
Orris stole his 95th career base in the sixth, pulling him to within two of Ernest McCoy's program record.
