Women’s Swimming Volunteers at the Milagro House

Lancaster, Pa. – The Millersville women's swimming team volunteered their time and effort helping out at the Milagro House in Lancaster City on Monday, April 20.
The Milagro House is committed to providing education, housing and counseling for women and their children experiencing homelessness. Women who enter the Milagro House come with a commitment and determination to move ahead in their education and gain the necessary skills to support themselves and children after they move into their own housing.
Grace Magerr, Janelle Laudermilch, Teagan Hanlon, Marina Barrineau, Jaime Cessna, April Kichline, Coach Adriana Rodriguez and Coach Kyle Almoney helped move televisions from the Milagro House West Chestnut Street location to the Milagro House on South Christian Street. Additionally, the Marauders helped with the yard work as well as cleaning out the interior of each house for the summer months.
According to Coach Kyle Almoney, "It was a very rewarding experience for everyone involved and anytime you give back to others it really is beneficial and we look forward to being back there again soon to help out such a wonderful organization."
