Men's Soccer Coach Steve Widdowson to Host Summer Soccer Camps

Millersville, Pa. - Millersville men's soccer head coach Steve Widdowson and the Total Soccer Institute announced that they will be hosting not only three boys camps, but a girls soccer camp as well on the campus of Millersville University.
Widdowson is a two-time PSAC Coach of the Year and has led the Marauders to four NCAA Tournament appearances in eight seasons at the helm. His confirmed coaches for the boys' camps include Marauders assistant Steve Small, Notts County WSL (England) goalkeeper coach Bob Widdowson, York College goalkeeper coach Jim Mustard, former Millersville star athlete and now-Tiffin assistant Matt Procopio and high school coaches Keith Nagley and Frank Lenno. The girls' camp coaches include Bob Widdowson and Jim Mustard with other coaches to be confirmed at a later date.
All camps will be hosted on the campus of Millersville University with the utilization of the brand new turf facility Pucillo Field. Listed below is information regarding each camp including the brochures for camp registration.
BOYS' OVERNIGHT RESIDENTIAL CAMP
Dates: July 12-15, 2015
Ages: 12-18 years old

Sessions include: Position specific training, small sided games, tactical and technical training, and footwork/speed and agility training. Goalkeeper specific training will be provided in EVERY session. Applications are due by July 1 and a $40 discount is offered for registrations received by April 18th.

BOYS' DAY CAMP
Dates: July 13-16, 2015
Time: 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Ages: 8-12 years old

Camp Objectives: The day camp is designed for young players looking to learn, develop and enhance their technical skills in a fun yet challenging environment. Players will be taught new skills while also looking to improve the execution of existing skills. The focus will be on technical development with some tactical development included in a small sided game environment.
Sessions include: Speed/agility and quickness training, detailed technical training in small number situations, small sided games, and tactical training in larger number games. Goalkeeper specific training will be provided EVERY day. Applications are due by July 1 and a $30 discount is offered for registrations received by April 18th.

Dates: July 19-22, 2015
Ages: 14-18 years old

MARK LUDWIG'S HIGH SCHOOL TEAM CAMP
Dates: August 1-4, 2015

Sessions include: This camp is designed to prepare high school teams for their upcoming seasons. Teams will practice and play together throughout the duration of camp and compete in 5 full sided games along with some small sided games. Practice sessions will focus on technical sharpness with games used for tactical development. Applications are due by June 6th.
