Johnstown, Pa. - No. 13-ranked Pitt-Johnstown sent the Millersville wrestlers home from its weekend road trip with a 40-4 loss Saturday afternoon.
Millersville (3-5) received a major decision from
David Charles at 141 pounds, but a Pitt-Johnstown lineup boasting three nationally-ranked wrestlers was too strong.
Charles won his bout by shutout for the second consecutive day. He took care of Craig Dawson by a 10-0 score, registering his team-leading seventh major decision of the season. The win moved his season mark to 13-11.
Elijah Flasher received his first action of the season at heavyweight but was downed 7-0 by Josh Duplin. Pitt-Johnstown won three of the 10 matches by fall.
Millersville travels to nationally-ranked Kutztown on Jan. 31
