National Student-Athlete Day Set for April 6

Millersville, Pa. - April 6 marks the 26th celebration of National Student-Athlete Day sponsored by the National Consortium for Academics and Sports (NCAS). Student-athletes at Millersville University and all over the nation will be honored for achieving excellence in the classrom and on the field while making contributions to their schools and communities.
Student-athletes who are honored must have earned at least a 3.0 GPA and been actively involved in outreach and community service. In 2012, over 260,000 student-athletes in colleges and high schools were recognized as part of the event. Each qualifying student-athlete at Millersville will receive a certificate and will be recognized at their home events on Saturday.
