Millersville, Pa. - Guess who! The 2013 Millersville football team captains have been selected by their teammates and the trio of players will be announced to the team and public during warm-up at Saturday's Black & Gold Spring Game.
The Black & Gold Spring Game marks the end of the first spring under new head coach
Greg Breitbach. During the workouts, the team voted for three players to serve as captains throughout the 2013 season. A fourth captain will be selected on a week-to-week basis starting with the spring game.
The unveiling is scheduled to take place Saturday, April 27 at 5:55 p.m. during the team stretch. Each captain will be individually recognized with their career accomplishments and a video highlight of each player will later be posted to
millersvilleathletics.com.
The opening series of the spring game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Admission to the event is free and the first 100 fans receive a free black and gold whoopie pie compliments of Millersville University Dining Services. Concessions will be availble, and Millersville football t-shirts will be sold. Kids, students and parents will also be selected to compete in halftime contests on the field.
