Scoring Spree Spawns Win Over Bald Eagles

Box Score Lock Haven, Pa. - After scoring one goal in the past two games, the Millersville men's soccer team broke out for four goals against Lock Haven on Saturday evening to defeat the Bald Eagles, 4-2.

Millersville (8-4-1, 5-2 PSAC) scored the game's first four goals before surrendering two scores to the home team. Sophomore Jeramey Robbins and Andrew Dukes led the Marauders with three points apiece. Jaime Vazquez and Ryan Rohrer finished off the scoring for the Black and Gold. Goalie Brad Benzing made seven saves in the victory.

Lock Haven (4-9, 2-6 PSAC) received goals from Zachary Muscato and Colt Brackbill. The Bald Eagles tallied more shots (17-9) than the Marauders but only put 10 of their targets on the goal frame. Jonathan Howitt made one save in the game for the home team.

The teams combined to commit 35 fouls throughout the game, and Dukes and Colby Zeger picked up yellow cards in the match. Each team tallied two corner kicks in each half.

Monday's game against the District of Columbia was canceled. The Marauders' next game is now Oct. 25 at home against Seton Hill.
