
Bernhardt Nabs PSAC Athlete of the Week

Millersville, Pa. - Millersville's women's swimming senior Sarah Bernhardt won three events over the weekend and was honored for her performance by being named PSAC Athlete of the Week.
Bernhardt took first place in both the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle with finishes of 25.50 and 54.06, respectively. Both times were PSAC qualifying standards and her 100-yard freestyle time was the second fastest finish in the event this season.
The Vineland N.J. native also helped the Marauders win the fist event of the meet on Saturday against Franklin & Marshall. Bernhardt and company swam the 400-yard medley relay in 4:08.16, more han five seconds faster than the second place team. The 4:08.16 time was the third fastest time for Millersville this season.
Bernhardt, who currently owns 10 school records, leads the Marauders today against PSAC opponent Kutztown at 2 p.m. in Pucillo Natatorium.
Millersville then travels to conference foe East Stroudsburg on Saturday, January 26 for a dual meet at 1 p.m.
