Day Two of Penn Relays Proves Successful for Marauders

Philadelphia, Pa. – Competing in three events for the second day in the row at the Penn Relays, the Marauders topped their results from Friday in convincing fashion, as the women's relay team broke a school record in the 4x200-meter relay.
The team of Abby Schneider, Erin Mason, Mattie Conaboy and Chrissy Savage set a new school mark with a time of 1:46.09. The group bested the 16-year mark from 1996 by more than a second. Overall, the team finished 44th.
In the other relay of the day, the men's 4x400-meter team of Keith Ogden Jr., Sergey Grinev, Kevin DiFlorio and Chris Jackson clocked in at 3:22.83 in sixth place. It was the fastest time by a men's team this season by nearly two full seconds.
In the one individual event, Ogden finished with a time of 53.71 seconds, his second-best time of the season. Ogden placed 19th in the 57-man field.
Tomorrow, the team is at the Paul Kraiser Classic at Shippensburg University.
