Lock Haven, Pa. - Junior James McBride followed his first career race win by earning PSAC Men's Cross Country Athelte of the Week honors Monday.
McBride is the first Marauder male to win the award in more than five years. He was recognized for topping a field of 115 runners at the Lock Haven Invitational. His time of 25:44.50 was four seconds better than the runner-up. Four other PSAC teams were in the field.
His time was just two seconds off of his personal best. The win was also the first by a Millersville men's runner since Mark Stallings' NCAA regional crown in 2004.
