Millersville, Pa. - There is still time to register for the early for the 39th annual Millersville Turkey Trot. The 5K race is set for Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24 at 9 a.m., and raises money for the Millersville cross country and track and field teams.
There is a benefit to signing up early. If registered before Nov. 11, the cost is $20 with a t-shirt. After Nov. 11, participants can sign up at Pucillo Gymnasium on the day of the race from 7 a.m.-8:15 a.m. The cost for race-day registration is $25.
Both runners and walkers are welcome to compete. There are seven different age groups and winners for each group. Random awards will also be drawn for all contestants. The overall male and female winners receive $100. Second place male and females win $50. The race starts at Pucillo Gymnasium on the Millersville University campus.
