
38th Annual Turkey Trot Set for Sunday, Nov. 21

Millersville, Pa. – The Millersville cross country and track and field teams will host the 38th annual Turkey Trot on Sunday, November 21.
With over 800 competitors expected, it will be the largest race in the past two decade. The dramatic growth of this event is due to the partnership with the Girls on the Run non-profit organization. Their mission is to use the power of running to educate and prepare girls in the third to eighth grade levels for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living.
Participants can still sign up prior to the race between 11:30 a.m., and 1 p.m., at Pucillo Gymnasium. The fee for all participants is $20.
The race is scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m., on Sunday. The race will begin at Pucillo and finish at Biemesderfer Stadium.
