McBride and Marauders Dominate Friends of Sarah Open

Lancaster, Pa. - The Millersville men's cross country team made the short trip to Lancaster to compete at Franklin & Marshall's Friends of Sarah Open. Paced by James McBride, the Marauders led the field of 31 runners in the 8K race by taking 11 of the top 12 spots.
The Marauders took the top five spots in the race. McBride placed first with a time of 26:25.1. Teammate Josh Foulds wasn't far behind in second as he crossed the line in 26:53.2. Michael Parker (27:06.8), Seth Hibbs (27:14.3) and Jim Boyer (27:20.2) rounded out the top five.
Eleven Millersville runners cracked the 28-minute mark and 12 finished before any runner from Franklin & Marshall crossed the finish line.
Millersville travels to Kutztown, Pa., for the Kutztown Invitational on Oct. 23.
