Millersville, Pa. - With four runners in the top 25, the Millersville men's cross country team placed fourth in a field of eight teams at Saturday's Kutztown Invitational.
James McBride delivered a 10th-place finish to the lead the way. His 8K time of 26:07 was not much off the pace set by Stonehill's Patrick Fullerton, who finished in 25:38. Shippensburg took the team title by placing five runners in the top six.
Senior Josh Foulds posted a time of 26:33 to place 16th. Zach Kelchner and Jim Boyer also ran solid races, placing 24th and 25th respectively. Kelchner's time of 26:58 was 10 seconds better than his teammate.
Michael Parker rounded out Millersville's top five by finishing in 27:28 and placing 36th. Junior Jared Kneebone took 50th in the 85-runner field.
Saturday's race was Millersville's last before the PSAC Championship in two weeks.
