Eight Millersville teams will be in action this weekend, including five playing at home and three in postseason competition. Here is your guide to everything happening in Millersville sports this weekend.
WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL
Millersville vs. West Chester (Alumni Night)

About the Matches: Millersville closes out its season with two PSAC Eastern Division matches this weekend. On Friday, the team is inviting all alumni to return to the match. On Saturday, seniors Meredith Sinback and Emily Bires will play the final matches of their Marauder careers. Sinback ranks first all-time in career assists, and Bires ranks in the top 10 in career kills.

NCAA Atlantic Region Championship
Date: Saturday, Nov. 7
Location: Mansfield, Pa.
Time: 11 a.m. (women run first, men's race immediately follows)
Meet Coverage: Mansfield's Championship Information
About the Meet: Both teams travel to Mansfield to compete for berths to the NCAA Division II Championships. The men's team finished 11th at last week's PSAC Championships are hoping its young runners continue to emerge. The women's team placed sixth at the conference meet and are in position to better that finish. The Marauders must place third or higher to earn a berth to nationals. Priscilla Jennings was the runner-up at the PSAC Championships a week ago and after a third-place finish at the regional last year, she is in position to qualify for nationals for the second year in a row. Earlier this year, she won the Mansfield Flatland Invitational run on the same course.

About the Game: No. 1 ranked Millersville is making its second straight and sixth all-time appearance in the PSAC Championship. The Marauders have never won a conference crown and last year, they were clipped 3-2 by California (Pa.). Millersville enters the contest with a 17-1 record and as the two-time defending PSAC East champs. Slippery Rock is ranked 12th nationally with a 16-3-1 record. The top seed from the PSAC West reached the title game with a shootout victory over Mercyhurst.

About the Game: Millersville's seven seniors are playing in their final games and hope to go out on top. Millersville is in search of its fourth win of the season, and it will be fans last chance to see senior running back Brad Lantz in action. Lantz ranks fourth all-time in career rushing yards, seventh in all-purpose yards and needs 28 carries to tie the school's career record. Edinboro comes into the game boasting a 7-3 mark and is looking to bounce back after last week's lost to Clarion. The Fighting Scots will be without the services of star quarterback Trevor Harris, who suffered a season-ending injury last week.

About the Meet: Expectations are high for the Marauders as they enter the 2009-10 season. Saturday is their debut, and the team returns four national qualifiers from a year ago. Senior 157-pounder Jarrett Hostetter is also back after redshirting last season. Senior Jeremy Brooks (165), junior Ray Bennett (197) and sophomore Shane Smith (174) lead a team that won nine dual meets a year ago. Boston finished 7-8-1 last year and had three national qualifiers. Bloomsburg went 9-8-1 last year and returns All-American Matt Moley, who is ranked No. 2 in the nation. 165-pound Rick Schmelyun is ranked 16th nationally.

About the the Game: Millersville hosts Dominican in the final tune-up before the 2009-10 regular season opens on Nov. 20. The Marauders are the reigning PSAC Eastern Division champs and are looking to reach their third straight NCAA Tournament. They were picked second behind West Chester in the PSAC East Preseason Poll. Jenna Craig led the team in rebounds last year and was an Preseason All-PSAC East selection.

About the the Game: Millerville's season opens at home on Nov. 15, and to get in gear, the Marauders host Goucher Sunday morning. Goucher is the alma mater of Millersville assistant Damian Pitts. The Marauders return eight players and three starters from last year's squad. The team boasts a strong group of guards including sophomore Brandon Widener and senior Palmer McDurfee.
