East Stroudsburg , Pa. – Forward Lynda Hicks tallied a goal in both halves and goalkeeper Janine Turcio made three saves for her first shutout of the season as the East Stroudsburg University women's soccer team cruised to a 2-0 victory over Millersville Wednesday night.
Millersville (4-5, 1-3 PSAC East) managed just five shots in the game and put three of them on goal, but each were turned away by Turcio.
Marauder senior goalkeeper #Jaime Lancaster# did all she could to keep the Marauders in the match as she made 12 saves in the game. East Stroudsburg fired 24 shots in all.
The Millersville women's soccer team will be back in action on Saturday when it hosts Shippensburg for a 3:30 p.m. start.
