Redshirt freshman quarterback Tony Staffieri was impressive in his first collegiate start, throwing for 246 yards and rushing for 162 to total 408 yards of total offense, coming within 39 of the school record which was set in 1999. Staffieri threw three touchdown passes. He was the first Marauder to rush for 100 yards since 2014 and the first quarterback to hit the mark since 2013.
