Center Demerick Weglinski opened his season with three consecutive double-doubles and averaged 12.8 points and 11.8 rebounds with five steals and four blocks in the opening week of the season. Weglinski totaled 14 points and 17 rebounds against Mansfield and then totaled 19 points, 13 rebounds, three steals and two blocks in 49 minutes in the triple overtime win over Gannon.
