Jim McDade tossed a complete game one-hitter for a 2-0 win over No. 18 Shippensburg on Saturday. McDade became the first pitcher to hold Shippensburg to one hit in a game since 2010. He struck out four and walked just one. Of the two Raiders that reached base, only one reached scoring position. After allowing a two-out single in the first inning, McDade did not allow another hit over his final six innings. He issued one walk in the third but retired 14 consecutive batters to win the game. It was his second career complete game.
