Junior Robert Coyne became the first Millersville golfer since 2000 to qualify for the NCAA Division II Championships by taking second place in an elite field of 108 golfers at the NCAA Atlantic/East Super Regional. Coyne held the 36-hole lead and was the only golfer in the field to shoot three rounds of 73 or lower. He shot 2-over-par for the tournament.
