Mashira Newman led Millersville by averaging 16.0 points, 3.0 assists and 4.5 rebounds against Shippensburg and Mansfield. Newman played all 40 minutes in both games and led the team in scoring twice. She scored 17 points against Shippensburg and then tallied 15 points with seven rebounds and six steals against East Stroudsburg in the PSAC Tournament's opening round.
