Mashira Newman filled the stat sheet in two PSAC contests last weekend, averaging 15.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 3.5 steals. Against Slippery Rock, she grabbed seven rebounds, handed out six assists, blocked a shot, recorded two steals and scored eight points as the Marauders rolled to a 29-point win. Against two-time defending PSAC champ Edinboro, she scored a season-high 23 points on 9-of-17 shooting from the field and 2-of-3 shooting from three. She also tallied four assists and five steals. She shot 4-of-6 from three in the two games.
