Evan King sparked Millersville to three wins over No. 5 West Chester by going 11-for-23 at the plate and hitting .478 over a six-game week. King recorded at least one hit in each of the final five games of the week. He drove in five runs, stole two bases, and he recorded two or more hits in four of the games. His on base percentage for the week was .536. He was also perfect in the field on 19 chances. King's hot-streak started with a 2-for-2 effort and a RBI in Millersville's comeback win over West Chester Friday. The next game, King set a season-high with four hits, going 4-for-6 with a double and a season-high three RBIs. In the series finale, King went 2-for-4, stole a base and scored a run. At IUP on Sunday, King went 2-for-5 with a RBI in the opener and followed it by reaching base four times in the nightcap. He recorded one hit, walked three times, stole a base and scored a run.
