Junior Demond Vance led Millersville to two crucial PSAC East victories last week by averaging 21.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. In wins over Shippensburg and Bloomsburg, Vance shot an impressive 46.7 percent from the field and hit 13-of-15 free throws. He turned in a career performance to spark Millersville to a triple overtime win over Bloomsburg on Saturday, scoring a career-high 33 points on 9-of-18 shooting from the field and 13-of-15 from the line. He also pulled down seven rebounds, handed out four assists and recorded one steal in 47 minutes of play. Earlier in the week at Shippensburg, Vance helped Millersville to its first road win of the season by recording a game-high eight rebounds (including four on the offensive glass) and scoring 10 points on 5-of-12 shooting.
