Stephanie Kulp Tabbed All-PSAC East Second Team

Lock Haven, Pa. - Senior center fielder Stephanie Kulp was named All-PSAC East Second Team on Wednesday and became the first Marauder center fielder to be named all-conference since Alexa Ashwell was put on the second team in 2007. She is also the first Millersville outfielder to be honored by the league since Allison Chew was named first team in 2011.

Kulp finished 2015 with a .957 fielding percentage and committed just two errors after starting all 45 games at the middle outfield spot. She didn't commit her first error of the season until game No. 38 at Shippensburg on April 17.

The Lansdale, Pa., native was tied for second in the PSAC in triples with four and that number is also tied for fifth in a single season in program history. She finished her career with five three-base hits, which is also tied for fifth in Millersville's record books.

In 2015, the North Penn product was first among the team's outfielders in assists with seven to go with 26 hits, eight runs scored, two doubles, two RBIs, 36 total bases, and four sacrifice hits. At one point in the season, Kulp had a seven-game hitting streak that lasted from April 17 through April 24 and in that span, she went 9-for-21 (.429) with a run scored, an RBI, one double, and one triple.

With Brianna Andraos being named All-PSAC East First Team as a pitcher a season ago, Millersville was able to put a player on the all-conference teams in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 2010-11.
