Millersville, Pa. – Mike Greck led the way for the Marauders in his final home match, but it was not enough as Franklin & Marshall secured its first ever Rupp Cup and first win in eight years over Millersville. The Diplomats scored a pin and a major decision in their 22-33 win.

Greck scored the Marauders' first points with a 14-5 major decision over Aaron Velasquez. Greck, one of two seniors for Millersville on its senior night, improved his record to 11-6 on the year.

Millersville's other senior, Jason Foor, unfortunately suffered an injury in the first round and was unable to finish his match.

Also scoring for the Marauders was Dakota Kuhn, Brandon Vernalli, and Dan Cox.

Kuhn wrestled his way to a 6-5 decision over Eric Norgard to pull Millersville within three points of F&M.

Vernalli would even up the match at 10 points apiece after winning by a 10-3 decision. The Diplomats would pull away with a 19-10 lead before the Marauder's Dan Cox won over Colin Lahiff by a 3-1 decision to give Millersville a chance in the final bout.

The Diplomats would secure its first ever Rupp Cup with a 10-3 decision in the heavyweight match.

The NCAA East Regionals begin Mar. 6, in Lynchburg, Va.
