Frayne Lands PSAC Time at Husky Open

Bloomsburg, Pa. – Members of the men's and women's track and field team traveled to Bloomsburg for the Husky Open this weekend. Most notably, senior Michele Frayne posted a PSAC-qualifying distance of 5.34 meters in the long jump for a first-place finish.
Whitney Savoy finished fourth in the long jump with a distance of 4.49 meters, and Liz Herzog finished fifth with 4.45 meters.
Frayne earned a first-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.09 seconds. In the 400-meter hurdles, Stacey Bernetski took home first with a time of 1:10.32.
Clearing a distance of 1.49 meters, Jess Rhyner landed top honors. Frayne also cleared 1.49 meters for third place. Savoy finished third in the triple jump with a leap of 10.51 meters.
Frayne landed second in the javelin, throwing 32.79 meters. Grace Tancredi and Heather Miller took fourth and fifth, respectively in the hammer throw. Tancredi threw a distance of 38.41 meters, followed by Miller with 37.43 meters.
Finishing fourth in the men's 400-meter dash, Chris Jackson posted a time of 52.28 seconds. Ryan Griffith finished second in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.75 seconds. Griffith landed fourth in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing in 1:02.51.
Jackson landed third in the 200-meter dash in 23.74 seconds.
Andrew Mussleman and Nick Sperry took home sixth and seventh in the 800-meter run. Mussleman crossed the line in 2:03.73, and Sperry finished in 2:03.99.
On the field, Ryan McCauley finished third in the pole vault with a distance of 4.00 meters. Lucas Sandoe came in a close fourth, clearing a distance of 3.55 meters.
Dakota Snell threw a distance of 38.98 meters in the hammer throw to earn fourth place.
The Marauders return to action on April 16 at the Kutztown Multi-Event Open.
