Kelly Fitzgerald helped the Millersville women's softball team open the season with a 2-2 record by going 5-for-12 at the plate (.417) and recording a team-leading three RBIs. Fitzgerald's on base percentage was an impressive .462, and she did not commit an error in 23 chances. She had at least one hit in three of the four games, and on Sunday, she went 2-for-3 against Merrimack and 2-for-3 with two RBIs against St. Joseph's.
